Shipping, Returns & Online Ordering Policy

SHIPPING POLICY

Our food waste is one of the leading causes of environmental pollution.

Where We Ship To:

Street addresses in Canada only (no PO. addresses)

You can ship to another address besides your own. When prompted to fill out shipping information, specify the shipping address you wish to send your purchase. When prompted for the billing address, fill out your own address.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be added for all items in deliveries to all Provinces at the applicable rate.

 

Shipping Cost

Free Shipping - We offer free ground shipping on all orders over $300 in Canada.

 

Once your order is confirmed, it will take a few business days to process and ship. You will first receive an order confirmation email, including your order number. This will be sent to your specified email address. After we ship, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking.

 

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding major holidays. Orders placed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday will be processed the following Monday.

 

Note: shipping and delivery times are estimated and can not be guaranteed. We remain committed to getting your order to you as quickly as possible.

 

Order Changes/Cancellation Requests

We are unable to combine multiple orders. We cannot cancel or change an order's details once it has been submitted to our warehouse. Orders are submitted to our warehouse daily at 11 PM EST. Please contact us ASAP if you notice an error in your order details. You will be charged an intercept fee if you request an order cancellation after the order has been submitted

RETURN POLICY

Exchanges
If you would like to exchange an item, we ask that you reorder the item online and handle your original purchase as a return for refund. This will ensure you receive the item you are looking for in the event we are out of stock before we receive your return.

How to Return Product

Please check your invoice date: We will accept returns of unused merchandise in its original protective packaging within 30 days of your invoice date. Credit will be issued in the same form of payment used for purchase. No refunds will be given for returns made after 30 days from the invoice. Please note that original shipping charges are not refundable.

Please allow a processing time of 7 business days for refunds after receiving the returned item. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles from the day you return your package for your account to be credited. Your banking institution may require additional days to process and post this transaction to your account once they have received the refund information from us.

 

Shipping Error / Damaged Merchandise

In the event that we processed an order incorrectly or sent an incorrect or damaged item, we will gladly replace or take back that item tar a full refund at our expense. Don't hesitate to contact us at smartcaracanada@gmail.com, and we will issue you a return shipping label.
